Breaking up is hard to do.

On Monday, May 24th, 2010, a friend of the family is going to be leaving us to move on to other things.  It's not many times in our lives when we have to say goodbye to someone forever; forever is a long time!  I remember when we first met him, coincidentally it was also on a Monday.  He is one of those people who you fall in love with immediately.  I have certainly learned a lot from him, and I am grateful for everything he's taught me.  Before meeting him I was unsure about how to properly deal with conflict, but now, well, let's just say you don't want to see me upset.  He taught me how to raise my voice and get what I want; he also taught me how to walk as if I am going somewhere.  I'm actually getting a little misty-eyed (he wouldn't like that) so I better stop writing...

Farewell my friend, there will never be another Jack Bauer; and as of Monday America will be a little less safe.



By the way, my wife wants me to tell everyone how stunning she looks... She does look especially fly today.
