Next Stop, Gethsemane UMC.

When one begins serving God they do so by faith, trusting that God will be with them in every move that is made. The walk of faith is uncertain and often tumultuous, but every moment is exciting. For me a new moment is around the corner. On January 1st, 2012, I will begin my role as senior pastor at Gethsemane United Methodist Church, in Columbus, OH.

I must admit that there are feelings of uncertainty, unpreparedness, and doubt, but without those feelings I could not move forward in faith, trusting that God will do what God does. My prayer is that God will make us his vessel, and use us in whatever way he see's best. That he would give us willing spirit's so that we would always obey his call. I have already visited the church and the congregation was very welcoming to me and my family. They appear to be a people eager to serve God, so we are eager to join them in service.
