Sometimey Sympathy

I'm not sure where you live but we in Ohio experience some of the craziest temperature shifts. For example, today (1/5/14) it's 37 and rainy; tomorrow will be -2! It's going to be so cold that the trash collectors have decided not to work  tomorrow and many schools are already cancelled.

As I sat there thinking about how cold it was going to be I wished that no one would have to go out in conditions like that. Then something happened to make me change my mind. As I was being sympathetic (which is unusual for me) I received an email from amazon letting me know that the Timberland boots I ordered would be delivered tomorrow instead of Wednesday. This welcomed news made me cross a group of people off my list of those who I just seconds ago wished could stay home and be warm. This group of people are the delivery drivers, of course.

I actually thought to myself, "These dudes better bundle up cuz if I don't get my boots there will be hell to pay."
This is just another reminder of how I need help and lots of prayer. ;-)
But for real, there is underarmor, insulated gloves, heated cushions, etc... I better get my boots tomorrow! -2 isn't really that cold, right?
