Lenten Blogging: Day Twenty-Seven

Today's Question: Does a messy home (or office) make you anxious and cranky, or is cleaning something you just do before company comes over?

Messiness doesn't bother me; filth does. The difference is that filth creates smells. If clothes are all over the place (to an extent) or the bed is not made, I chalk it up to life being busy. But if the dishes are beginning to reek, that bothers my soul.

I also do not like cleaning up just because people are coming. I will clean when I anticipate guests coming, but if someone says they are stopping by on a whim they better be prepared to step over my shoes, and a doll, here or there. I'm not into impressing other people, or living up to their standard of clean.

Tomorrow's Question: Do you feel like you "get" social media, or do you just use it because that's where all your friends and family are?
