Good Idea; Bad Idea

I am currently in my second year at UTS, and I'm starting to feel it. “It” can only be described as the weight of the course load. Let me back up a little bit. I graduated from Ohio State University; at OSU you can take classes whenever you want. So if you didn't want to take Psych 300 in the Fall, you could take it in the Winter or Spring. Anyway, I came to UTS with that frame of mind, and now I am paying for it. I decided that I would hold off on Old Testament and New Testament and instead take some classes that would help me ease my way into seminary. I did this thinking that I could possibly take one of them spring semester, I thought wrong. To make a short story shorter, I am now taking Old Testament 1 AND New Testament 1 at the same time. Any UTS student reading this will justifiably cringe, and/or call me a fool under your breath. That means I have Dr. Dozeman and Dr. Watson (both extremely brilliant), and both of them love reading exegesis papers for some reason. So I am currently up to my nose in OT and NT exegesis assignments. Even though it's a heavy workload, I am actually learning a lot about the exegetical process by taking both classes at the same time. There are many different methods for doing exegesis, and by doing so many papers I have become familiar with a method that has been working well for me. Dr. Dozeman and Dr. Watson may think differently LOL, but I can definitely see an improvement in my personal Bible study. Well, I better save my typing for the assignments due; but before I finish let me make a suggestion. DON'T TAKE OT AND NT AT TTHE SAME TIME!!!
