I Baptize You...

Recently I wrote about becoming an Assoc. Minister at Omega Baptist Church. Well, today was another first for me; today I had the privilege of participating in my first baptism ceremony. I'm certain my experience didn't come close to that of those being baptized, but it was definitely memorable for me. It was like adding feet to the sacraments; it was incredible! I only wish I had a line like John the Baptist presumably had; because the smile on the believer's face as they emerge from the water cannot be duplicated. I am also honored to be able to participate in such an event. I pray that it never becomes routine to me.
