God's Religion

Karl Barth made famous the notion of religion being the effort of humans to reach God.  I agree with that.  But what, then, is Christianity?  It can't be a religion, or maybe it can; maybe Christianity is God's religion and no one elses.  Think about it, if our efforts to reach God is called religion, then God's efforts to reach us has to be his religion.  Since he reaches us, ultimately, through Christ, we can see that his religion is Christianity.  Right?  Eh, probably not, but I tried. 

These thoughts rambled through my mind as I was being led astray by my GPS earlier today.
