Wine Anyone?

While sitting in this year's Good Friday service, at Omega Baptist Church, it suddenly struck me that the beginning and ending of Jesus' ministry (in John's gospel) had wine present.  I'm referring to the Wedding at Cana (John 2), and his plea on the cross, "I am thirsty (John 19:28-30)."  Isn't the whole gospel message hidden in this?  God became incarnate and brought us the best wine, but when he needs a drink, he is offered some nasty sour wine... and he drinks it.  He gives us the best, and takes our worst; that's the gospel!
